According to KA: "Pain killers contain non-kosher ingredients but may be used for infants & children unable to take tablets. In all cases, the safety of the child is of paramount concern, & one must not refrain from using non-kosher medication when medically required. Panadol & Panadeine also contain non-kosher ingredients. Their nature is such that the medications are acceptable for use by both children & adults."
