Please note: the "21 day shelf life" applies only when the bottle is sealed. Once it is opened, as with any milk, it must be consumed within 2-3 days. Milk should be kept in the fridge at all times, NEVER in the door, and below 5 degrees. It should be stored towards the back of the fridge and as low as possible. Milk can be defrosted, which is best done overnight in the fridge, upright. Milk should NEVER be left out of the frisge for longer than absolutely necessary. Milk can be frozen at any time before 3 days prior to its expiration date. ******************************************
