Issue
Effective on or about December 1, 2015, the Beth Israel Hospital, located at 1st Ave. & 16th St, New York City, will no longer be an all kosher facility. Kosher patient meals, prepared under hashgacha temidis of the OU, will be available upon request from a separate menu. Additionally, The cafeteria will no longer be OU certified. Sealed kosher food will be available from a dedicated kosher area in the cafeteria. A kosher vending machine will be available, located in the Linsky lobby.
Notes
The Orthodox Union does not certify any Food Lion frozen pizza products. In a recent redesign of the packaging, the OU mark was erroneously included on some of the packaging. Corrective action has been implemented.
