Toothpastes not containing sorbitol, starch, citric acid, citrates or xanthan gum are permitted. The products listed as approved have been checked and do not contain these ingredients. However, before purchase it is still advisable to double check the label for absence of these ingredients, just in case they are 'grey-market' products, which may have been manufactured to a different formulation.
