Gouda cheeses come in different varieties. One of them is called "OUD GOUDA". Consumers should not assume that OUD GOUDA cheese means that the cheese is certified by the Orthodox Union. Orthodox Union certified cheeses bear the OU-D - Dairy Symbol.
