Issue
Effective on or about December 1, 2015, the Beth Israel Hospital, located at 1st Ave. & 16th St, New York City, will no longer be an all kosher facility. Kosher patient meals, prepared under hashgacha temidis of the OU, will be available upon request from a separate menu. Additionally, The cafeteria will no longer be OU certified. Sealed kosher food will be available from a dedicated kosher area in the cafeteria. A kosher vending machine will be available, located in the Linsky lobby.
Notes
The Orthodox Union does not certify any Pearl River Bridge sauces. Some Pearl River Bridge sauces bear an unauthorized OU. Corrective actions are being implemented.
